Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming hard and fast, and everything we’re hearing about the next CoD title is sounding seriously, seriously impressive so far.
The latest snippet of information kindly released by developers Infinity Ward is going to please a lot of people, as it’s been revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will have an Aim Down Sight reload for the very first time.

Although Black Ops 4 has a weapon attachment that lets you maintain Aim Down Sight while reloading on a few sniper rifles, this will mark the first time it’s been a weapon’s default feature in CoD.
Animation director Mark Grigsby took to Activision’s website to post a blog post on the matter.
“One other thing we added this year is the ADS [Aiming Down Sight] reload,” writes Grigsby. “In the past, if you’re ADS, and you’re shooting and you reload, the weapon would go off to the side, and you’d have to retrain to get to your target. This time if you reload, it stays on the target, so you can stay in the battle.”

It might sound like a little change, but it’s going to make a huge difference for experienced players of the game.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to release later this year.
The game’s official description reads: “In the visceral and dramatic single-player story campaign, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare pushes boundaries and breaks rules the way only Modern Warfare can. Players will engage in breathtaking covert operations alongside a diverse cast of international special forces throughout iconic European cities and volatile expanses of the Middle East.”

From the sounds of things, the game is going to totally redefine the Call of Duty franchise, offering up realistic gameplay, gritty and tough storylines, plus a whole steaming heap of violence.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare arrives October 25th, 2019.
