Call of Duty Season Four might only be in its infancy, but it seems as though Activision and Infinity Ward are already hard at work preparing for Season Five. According to a new report from VGC, Warzone is set for some huge changes when the next season drops.

VGC claims that Warzone will be tweaked to become more in line with the upcoming unannounced Call of Duty 2020 title. Leaks suggest the game will be based on the Cold War, and it makes sense that Activision would look to change its free-to-play Warzone to drive hype for the next big CoD experience.
According to the publication, Warzone’s football stadium will get an “open interior,” but perhaps even more exciting, it’s alleged that the map will see a loot-filled train constantly circling the entirety of the map. I don’t know about you, but that sounds fun as heck to me!

Of course, we’ve yet to hear any official word on whether or not these leaks are true, so take them with a pinch of salt for now. Hopefully we won’t have too long to wait to see if the rumours are correct, as each Season of Call of Duty lasts just a handful of weeks.
We’ve heard a lot of rumours surrounding the next addition to the Call of Duty franchise, and we’ve all been hoping for the official reveal sometime in the coming weeks. However, we might have to wait even longer than expected.

The annual Call of Duty games usually release pretty late on in the year, with the official reveal announcement usually hitting the internet in early summer. By that standard, we should be seeing CoD 2020 pretty soon. However, CoD leaker Tom Henderson thinks otherwise.
The known leaker, who’s been a fairly accurate source in the past, recently took to Twitter to share their belief that the next CoD won’t be revealed until as late on as August. Let’s hope not!
