Call Of Duty: Warzone Bug Illuminates Verdansk In Neon

Call of Duty: Warzone is no stranger to a bug or two, but one of the most recent glitches to be captured on camera has caught a lot of attention on Reddit. A CoD player and Redditor by the name of LilCapped recently took to the platform with footage of a game bug that shows the map of Verdansk illuminated with neon.

The user shared the video along with the caption “VERY ODD LIGHTING BUG but it looks mad cool.” Check it out in action below.

It’s not all too clear what’s caused the colouration bug, but look at that gun! What a beauty. If it’s possible to get the game to run like this all the time, I’d be totally down for that.

Interestingly, the video has sparked the idea of a day and night cycle for Warzone. One Redditor responded to the clip, writing: “Would look kind of cool if they had a night mode but all the buildings were lit up with lights kind of like this.”

Another said: “Totally agree. When the game launched they had a bunch of night time maps on the regular MP. Then they slowly disappeared and I cant help but wonder why. They were really cool, and Warzone at night? Oh sh*t, that’d be sweet.”

Maybe Season Four will bring some night-time goodness to Verdansk? Warzone (and Modern Warfare’s) fourth Season of content is set to drop later this week.

As confirmed in a blog post from Activision, Season Four will go live on Wednesday, June 3. Season Three’s official end will be at 2am, Eastern time. You’ll need to download the new update at that time, and voila! Let the fun commence.
