The console wars have got nothing on the PC vs. console wars, and the debate over which is the most superior has been around since the early days of the internet. It’s generally accepted that a decent PC is going to do a better job of running your games, which in turn, means PC gamers can be at an advantage.

Keyboard and mouse play is often superior to a game pad, offering more precision which is often needed – especially in a good ol’ FPS. Meanwhile, gamers often complain of structural issues between console versions of games and their PC counterparts, which often leads to claims that one faction of players have a better version than the others. When this happens, it’s sure to spark debate online, which is exactly what’s happened with a new video from Reddit user ImPretendingToCare.
Sharing a video from eVCephei [via LADBible], ImPretendingToCare claims that in Call of Duty: Warzone, PC players have a much wider field of view, putting them at a distinct advantage over console gamers.

The video, which you can check out below, shows a player on console being unable to see an enemy hiding just out of frame, who eventually got them killed. Comparing the footage with a PC view clearly shows the sneaky sniper in plain view, wherein the console version they were cropped out.
The comments’ section of the video is particularly telling, as other Warzone players flocked to the video to complain of similar situations they’d encountered.

It’s actually a pretty sucky situation for console gamers, and it’s one that’s yet to be addressed by either Activision and Infinity Ward. It looks like we have actual definitive proof that the PC version of Call of Duty: Warzone, really is the superior way to play.
