The game of Boba Fett.

Cancelled Star Wars Boba Fett Game Footage Surfaces Online

Footage of the cancelled Star Wars Boba Fett game Star Wars: 1313 has leaked showing off the game in action.

Star Wars: 1313 was announced back in 2012 by LucasArt, with Uncharted’s Amy Hennig attached as director. But unfortunately, after Disney’s acquisition of LucasFilm, the project was ultimately cancelled.

And we never really got a good look at the project other than one gameplay demo from when it was revealed. But thanks to YouTube channel The Vault, we finally get a look at some Boba Fett gameplay (thanks, VGC).

The footage starts off with Boba Fett walking around a bustling area. Though the footage looks somewhat pre-rendered, so it might not be actual gameplay. You can clearly see the Uncharted influences in the chase sequence portion of the footage. Which does seem like it was actual, albeit early gameplay.

Originally you were meant to play as a new bounty hunter character at the start of the game. Boba Fett would then kill this character, and you would play as him for the rest of the game. But unfortunately, the game was eventually quietly cancelled.

There won’t be a shortage of Star Wars games any time soon though. As EA recently announced that three new Star Wars games are in development, including a new Jedi: Fallen Order sequel. All three games are being developed by Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment. The other two are an FPS and a strategy game, but details are currently slim.
