Control, from Alan Wake developer Remedy Entertainment, is now available on Xbox Game Pass for PC.
In Control you play as Jesse Faden who is investigating the whereabouts of her missing brother. Her investigation leads her to a secretive agency in New York, located at the Old House.
In typical Remedy fashion all is not what it seems, and things only become crazier for Jesse when she lands the job of Director.
If you’re a fan of Remedy Entertainment and are yet to play Control, I couldn’t recommend this supernatural action/adventure enough. Up until now, Control has been available through Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One, but tomorrow it arrives for PC too.
However Control is not the only treat that’s come to Xbox Game Pass this month, because we’ve gotten plenty of other fantastic titles on the subscription service.
Also new to the service is Desperados III (Android, console, PC), Donut County (Android, console, PC) and Outer Wilds (Android). On January 26th we’ll be getting Cyber Shadow (Android, console, PC), however for me personally, it’s what arrives two days later that provides the pick of the bunch.
On January 28th the Silent Hill-inspired The Medium from Bloober Team is available for PC and Xbox Series X|S. On the same day the Yakuza Remastered Collection, which includes remasters of Yakuza 3, 4 and 5, comes to Android, console and PC.
In my humble opinion Xbox Game Pass offers the best gaming value on a budget and even if you only sub for a month, you’ll get more than your money’s worth in January alone.
