Cyberpunk 2077 Leak Suggests Release Date Reveal Is Imminent

E3 2019 is officially underway and the leaks are coming thick and fast. One of the most exciting leaks relates to none other than CD Projekt Red’s highly anticipated RPG, Cyberpunk 2077.

An image which appears to show off the goodies you can expect to get for buying a specific version of the physical game has appeared online and it seems pretty legit.

Popping up on Cyberpunk 2077’s Discord channel [via DSOGaming], the image shows off some physical extras including a mini art book.

DSOGaming compares the goods to those that were released alongside the Standard Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, suggesting that this is the Standard Edition of Cyberpunk 2077 and not a Special Edition.

Although it’s definitely nice to see some movement on the Cyberpunk front, there’s pretty much only one thing that a leak like this shows during the week of E3 – that Cyberpunk 2077 will be getting a release date in the coming days.

It’s something that’s been speculated about for a while now, with supposed industry insiders saying that we’ll finally soon know when the game is launching.

This leak is the first solid bit of evidence to suggest Cyberpunk 2077 is nearly ready to hit the shelves though, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Earlier this year, CD Projekt President Adam Kiciński let slip a few clues about Cyberpunk, during aconference call for investors. He said the company is “very much excited” by players’ reception of the game.

He also said that what’s complete at the moment has met the developer’s expectations, and that the game’s marketing campaign has so far been “very promising,” though there’s still a lot to come.

Kiciński also strongly hinted that Cyberpunk fans aren’t going to want to miss out on E3 this year, as it’s set to be the “most important ever” for CD Projekt Red, with a “strong show” in the works – apparently “even stronger than the last one.”

If we don’t get a release date for Cyberpunk 2077 at E3 2019 then I’ll be VERY shocked.
