The highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 DLC Phantom Liberty has finally received a release date. Here’s everything you need to know.
Up until now, there has been limited information about what we can expect from Cyberpunk 2077’s first DLC. We knew it would follow our protagonist V in a spy-thriller setting and that she would be working alongside Solomon Reed played by Idris Elba.
Now thanks to its presence at this year’s Xbox Games Showcase, we now know a lot more – including a release date.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty will launch on September 26, 2023.
Not only that but pre-orders are also live and it will set you back £24.99. You can go and order it now for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
Trailer and story updates
Fans were also treated to a brand-new trailer from CD Projekt Red. In the 2:35 official trailer, we get to see V on a mission to rescue the president of the New United States of America. It is here she teams up with FIA Agent Solomon Reed as they travel to an “all new district” known as Dog Town.
According to CDPR, Phantom Liberty is much more of a “spy-thriller.” This was confirmed by the game’s star Keanu Reeves who will be reprising his role as Johnny Silverhand. He says fans should be ready for “twists, secrets and plenty of stuff to do.”
