In a bizarre turn of events, Dead by Daylight has announced that Nicolas Cage will become a playable character. Here’s what we know so far.
The asymmetric multiplayer survival horror game is no stranger to introducing famous characters to its roster. The Demogorgon from Stranger Things, Pyramid Head from Silent Hill and Ghost Face from the Scream franchise are just a few examples of the crossovers that have come to the game.
Now it seems as though Behaviour Interactive are introducing real life people, starting off with award-winning actor Nicolas Cage.
Dead By Daylight Welcomes Nicolas Cage To The Horror
In an announcement dropped yesterday, it has been confirmed that the Ghost Rider actor will be joining the ever-growing roster.
“After countless awards and over one hundred movies shot across the globe, Nicolas Cage had seen it all and done it all – or so he thought. While on set filming the role of a lifetime, his performance summoned The Entity, a malevolent being of incomprehensible power. The actor soon found himself cast in otherworldly Fog, forced to Survive a host of terrifying Killers deadlier than even the most scathing film critic,” the official press release says.
We are yet to receive a date for Cage’s arrival but the official DBD Twitter account promises we will learn more on July 5.
What else is new for Dead by Daylight
According to a leaker, the infamous Naughty Bear will also be arriving to DBD. The iconic killer bear from the 2010 game with the same name has remained in people’s hearts despite the lack of success.
DbdNewsReal on Twitter has seemingly revealed that we may soon be getting an announcement for both Naughty Bear and Ikumi Nakamura. They believe these will be touched upon during DBD’s seventh anniversary celebrations which kick off tomorrow.
