It’s sometimes to easy to dismiss Blizzard, but let’s not forget it’s the company behind some of the best games of all-time, including the likes of the Diablo franchise.
If you never had the chance to play the original Diablo game all the way from 1996 then you’re in for a treat, as it’s just become available for digital download for the first time ever thanks to GOG.com.

The new partnership between GOG and Blizzard isn’t just bringing Diablo to the table though, as a whole slew of classic Blizzard games are planned for release in the future.
Warcraft: Orcs & Humans and Warcraft II have already been announced, and it’s likely we’ll be seeing even more offerings as the months go by.

As for the newly-released Diablo, you can pick up one of two versions of the game: either the bare bones edition (which includes everyone’s favourite Battle.net matchmaking and a very nostalgia 20 frames per second) or there’s also a deluxe version of the game which has been optimised for Windows 10 (but there’s no Battle.net matchmaking for this version!)
