Disney has revealed its roadmap for upcoming movies, and since Disney now owns 20th Century Fox as well as Marvel, there’s a pretty chunky list of upcoming cinematic releases.
Most interesting of all (unless you’re especially hyped for Frozen 2) is the pushing back of James Cameron’s Avatar movie sequels.
All of the sequels (all FOUR of them!) have been pushed back by one to two years, with Avatar 2 expected in December 2022, Avatar 3 in 2023, Avatar 4 in 2025 and Avatar 5 in 2027
The next seven years include a range of other household movie titles – from the highly-anticipated phase 4 of the MCU to a new saga of Star Wars movies.
