Disney’s Magic Kingdom Is Coming To Minecraft

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World, the Magic Kingdom is coming to Minecraft.

In a video posted to the official Minecraft YouTube channel, we got to see how this collaboration will take place. It seems that the entirety of the park has been recreated from top to bottom, and will feature “over 20 iconic attractions,” from the park. You’ll be able to embark on roller coasters such as Space Mountain, or take a leisurely boat ride on the Jungle Cruise.

You’ll also be able to do meet and greets with various characters, like Buzz Lightyear and Princess Jasmine. It seems you’ll also be equipped with an autograph book to get signatures from the various characters you can meet. There’s also a number of skins you can don, including Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh. At night you’ll also be treated to a fireworks show on Main Street, just like in the actual park.

The DLC pack seems like a great alternative to those desperate to go to a Disney Park but are unable to. The rides are obviously the most iconic aspect of the Magic Kingdom, apart from the castle, so being able to get to ride them in Minecraft should make the park feel more alive.

The pack is available to purchase for 1340 Minecoins now on the Minecraft Marketplace, which is roughly equal to $10. It’s also available on any platform you own Minecraft on.
