As global lockdown continues, more and more people are turning to video games to help them escape the cruel realities of the world and drift into something a little more fun, engaging and sociable. Thankfully, a number of game publishers and developers have been doling out their wares for free, in the hopes of making peoples’ lives a little brighter.
One of the biggest fish in the gaming pond, Sony, currently has five free PlayStation games that you can download and keep, but you need to act fast if you want these gems in your library.
Here are the free PlayStation titles you can nab right now, and how to get them!
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
Announced as part of Sony’s Play At Home initiative, the always-wonderful Nathan Drake Collection is free to download and keep – and you won’t even need a PlayStation Plus membership! Simply head to the PlayStation Store, locate the game and hit download. The Collection includes the first three Uncharted games.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Complete your collection of Uncharted games (or at least the ones starring Nathan Drake) with Uncharted 4, one of the free games of the month if you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber. If you’re not, then sadly this won’t be free for you.
Available until early May.
DiRT Rally 2.0
PlayStation Plus subscribers should know by now that their monthly offerings include two games. The second title available this month is DiRT Rally 2.0. It’s fast, it’s fun, and it’s free for PS Plus users.

Journey
thatgamecompany’s Journey is one of my favourite games of all time. A treat for the eyes and ears, this classic indie gem will move you to your very core, and just like the Uncharted Collection, it’s completely free whether you’re a PS Plus subscriber or not! Like I say to friends, family and people I see in the street: please download Journey.

Pac-Man Championship Edition 2
Pac-Man gets new modes and new ways to plays to Championship Edition 2. There’s not been too much fanfare for this game, but it’s a lot of fun so get it while you can!

Bonus freebie: Knack 2
Knack 2 is a bit of a meme now (thanks, Dunkey), but it’s still a great game. If you have a German PlayStation Network account, this game is free for you!
