‘Dying Light Platinum Edition’ Seemingly Leaked By Microsoft

‘Dying Light Platinum Edition’ has seemingly been leaked thanks to the Microsoft Store, suggesting that a definitive version of the 2015 classic is on the way.

According to the now-removed listing, the Dying Light Platinum Edition will be a repackage of the Anniversary Edition, though it’s hoped the new release might have some upgrades for new-gen consoles.

As noted by PushSquare, the release will include the 2015 base game, along with the Dying Light: The Following expansion, plus all the DLC ever released for the title. While it might be a neat package for some players who’ve yet to experience Dying Light, I really am hoping we get some new-gen upgrades, otherwise…what’s the point?

Dying Light Platinum Edition was initially listed with a release date of May 27, before Microsoft removed the store page. Whatever the Platinum Edition may surprise us with, we thankfully don’t have too long to wait for it!

Meanwhile, Dying Light fans are patiently waiting for news on the game’s upcoming sequel. Dying Light 2 has been stuck in developmental hell for a long time now, but it’s believed that the title will be on store shelves by the end of 2021.
