Mindhunter is without a doubt, one of Netflix’s biggest success stories – the hype surrounding season two is testament to that.
After a seemingly endless two-year wait, fans were finally treated to the second instalment last week which places a major focus on the infamous Atlanta Child Murders along with the Manson family.
On top of all the usual praise the show has had heaped on it, the casting has been a particular talking point, with the likeness of the actors to the serial killers being uncanny.

Safe to say the casting team have done an incredible job, the casting of Oliver Cooper for the Son of Sam is terrifyingly accurate.
It seems viewers have been just as impressed by the show’s second outing, with season two still boasting a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes.
One review make the bold claim: “The long-awaited second season of David Fincher’s Mindhunter affirms the program as Netflix’s strongest drama.”
While another says: “It is effective, haunting, scary, and one of the most provocative shows ever and hands down one of the best shows of the year.”
Another reviewer wrote: “Mindhunter” is deeper, richer, and more affecting this go round, even as it steers away from studying proven killers.”
