During last night’s Capcom Spotlight, the highly anticipated Exoprimal received its fair share of new information, including a release date. Here’s what we learned!
Exoprimal is an upcoming third-person shooter. It is also a multiplayer game so team up with your friends to battle with hordes of dinosaurs and mutated prehistoric creatures. It is set for release on July 14, 2023!
Exoprimal Plot
Its new trailer released during the Spotlight now shows that the plot focuses on a time-loop. We see a group of soldiers travel to the past and keep reliving the same day over and over. With dinosaurs appearing across the globe through wormholes, the soldiers must do what it takes to deal with a seemingly never-ending problem.
Multiplayer functions
As mentioned, Exoprimal is a multiplayer game and so will require a constant internet connection. However, players will also be able to play through season passes with unlockable rewards. This will of course feature the standard season pass rewards such as cosmetics.
Upcoming open beta
For those who can’t wait until July 14, an open beta will be available from March 17 to March 19. However, you will need to register for a Capcom ID in order to play.
The beta “welcomes you to this special hands-on training opportunity against the dinosaur hordes that threaten humanity.”
The beta will also offer player’s the chance to fill out a survey talking about their experiences. This will allow the team to work on glaring issues in order to make the game as good as it can be for release. You can learn more about it here!

Exoprimal will launch on July 14 and will be available for Playstation and Xbox consoles as well as PC. It will also be available for Xbox Game Pass.
