Fans Create ‘International PewDiePie Day’ In Honour Of Subs War With T-Series

When it comes to fandoms the PewDiePie shippers are pretty much second to none. The nearly-100-million-strong bro army might just consist of nine-year-olds, but they’re damn dedicated to Pewds – especially when it comes to his subs war with T-Series.

Over the past few days it’s been a constant battle between PDP and T-Series as the channels see the sub gap between them close, only for one channel to take over the other in just a few moments’ time.

The bro army now seems to have swapped its goal – instead of wanting people to sub to Pewds to help him beat T-Series, they want people to sub to Pewds to get him to 100 million subs before the Indian channel gets there.

100m is a huge milestone not just for any YouTube channel, but also for YouTube itself, as this is a feat that’s never been managed before.

In the hopes of getting the 100m crown for Pewds, fans are looking to create International PewDiePie Day, and honestly, I’m all for it.

The idea spawned on the r/pewdiepiesubmissions subreddit, and with over 30,000 upvotes, it seems a lot of people want to see International PewDiePie Day happen.

It started with Captain Marzia and has evolved to a new level.

It’s not been decided exactly what International PewDiePie Day would entail, but I like to think there’d be lots of lasagna, lots of meme reviews and maybe even an hour or so of Happy Wheels in his honour.

Mostly I think the plan is to watch a lot of PDP videos. For all you new bros out there that want to take part in International PDP Day, may I recommend the long-forgotten Amnesia, Mad Father and Ib PDP Let’s Plays.

The date set by the bro army is April 29. Best mark it in your calendars!
