Fans Want More 6v6 Maps in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Dev Responds

I’m a fan of 2019’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, I enjoyed the campaign and in the most part, I enjoyed its more traditional multiplayer modes too.  It seems fairly obvious that Infinity Ward has taken inspiration from the likes of the Battlefield series with much larger scale modes with increased player-counts in any one match and as a result, many of the maps are larger to compensation such numbers.

However, much of these larger maps are used for modes that has far less player numbers, which means that if you’re not constantly wondering the map looking for enemies, you’re also getting constantly sniped at just about every turn.

Recently in Infinity Wards defence, they have released some maps to cater the popular 6v6 modes as part of the season 1 content drop with Shipment, Vacant and Crash, as well as the previously existing Shoot House.  But the latter three maps have already appeared in previous games in the series and some fans are calling for some new maps entirely.

So when a fan took to Twitter stating “We need more 6v6 maps”, Infinity Ward Art Director, Joel Emslie kindly responded “We completely hear you guys on this.  Been working on it and continue as fast as we humanly can.”  Which I’m sure this news will please many fans that want more variety with their close-quarter, Call of Duty action.
