Final Fantasy 16 State Of Play start time, where to watch

With PlayStation set to hold a State of Play dedicated to Final Fantasy 16 later today, here’s where you can watch and its start time.

The presentation will feature around 20 minutes of gameplay for the upcoming Final Fantasy 16. The next instalment in the FF franchise is set for release on June 22 so this is the perfect way to deal with the wait.

So if you can’t wait for the game’s release, let’s take a look at where and when you can view today’s State of Play.

State of Play start time

The PlayStation State of Play is set to air today, April 13 at 2 PM PT / 5 PM ET / 10 PM BST / 11 PM CEST. Although the gameplay is set to be 20 minutes, we can expect the broadcast to be slightly longer than that.

What we can expect

In a blog post by PlayStation, the showcase will show snippets of the “game’s dark fantasy setting, the powerful Eikons and the Dominants who house them.” Additionally, we will also get to see some of the battle system that was introduced in earlier trailers.

In the run up to the Final Fantasy 16 release, Square Enix has released some information about the highly-anticipated title. We know the game will feature over 70 hours of content which includes both main and side missions.

It is also set to feature action-based battles as opposed to turn-based content as the team aimed for more action-driven gameplay.

Additionally, FF16 will be released on PlayStation 5 and will remain a PS5 exclusive for at least six months. We are as of now unsure as to when its exclusivity will end and the game will come to PC.
