First Details On Diablo 4 Have Reportedly Leaked Online

It’s been heavily rumoured that this year’s BlizzCon will see the reveal of the highly-requested Diablo 4, and it looks like we might have our first real leak on the game.

Reddit user and known leaker PracticalBrush12 recently took to the Diablo subreddit to share what they apparently know about the project, and they’re a pretty reliable source.

PracticalBrush starts the post by warning that they can’t provide any sources for the info, but that their history could prove the legitimacy of the claims.

The user then says: “Diablo 4 is actually going to look dark, gritty and gross – no more rainbow shiny bullsh*t this time! Locations are toned down, infrequently laid with corpses, wasteland, greyish deserts, clut caves surrounded by flesh, rotten crypts, marshes and bogs, plagued cities you name it.

“They are also seemingly much bigger, maybe even open? Characters now are able to ride horses (possibly other mounts), also there’s contextual interaction with environment ? – climbing a wall Lost Ark style. Blood splatters look more like blood and not splashed jam too.”

The leaker goes on to add that the game will have three classes: Mage, Barbarian and Druid. Mages will be able to use ice, fire and lightning, Barbarians will be able to use clubs, axes and swords, and Druids will be able to transform into beasts and use wind and lightning.

“Possibly there will be PvP from the start? 4 player coop is there for sure,” continues the leak. “All this game seems to be is a W I N K to the Diablo 2 fans, Lilith being the new diablo (she’s covered in blood veil kinda), characters being shown sitting at a campfire as character selection, nitty gritty dark style that 2 was praised for, some skills also seem to be just taken from it and put in here (like sorceress’ charged bolt).”

The user signs off by saying they don’t know a release date for Diablo 4, and they also don’t know if a Diablo 2 remake is on the cards. They do believe the game won’t just be announced at BlizzCon 2019, but will also be playable for the people attending.

Whether or not the leaks are true remains to be seen, but we don’t have too long to wait. BlizzCon 2019 is scheduled for this weekend.
