The beta testing for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has finally begun, and it’s not taken long for the game’s first ever Tactical Nuke to be earned.
The Tactical Nuke was scooped up by pro gamer Karma, of OpTic Gaming, and it was snagged in just a matter of minutes after a very impressive 30 killstreak.
Announced just last month, Modern Warfare players will be able to use the giant nuclear bombs that’ll affect the whole of the map – as long as they get a killstreak of 25 consecutive kills.
Detonating the nuke is a guaranteed win for the team that has it on their side, and setting one off with spawn a 10-second timer.
After time’s up, the game will slow down, killstreak rewards will explode and every single player on the map will die. Including yourself.
If you, or someone on your team sets off a nuke, it’s an automatic win for your side, even if the odds weren’t in your favour and the other team was winning (except in the case of Free For All matches).
The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta has just begun for PlayStation 4 games. Beta Early Access began on September 12, while the open MP beta begins over the weekend, starting September 14, 2019.
There’s no official word on when the beta will be open for Xbox and PC gamers.

Although the game is looking and sounding seriously impressive so far, recent news has fans more than a little suspicious.
The beta has revealed that microtransactions are likely heading to the title at some point in the future, a reveal which has left a bitter taste in players’ mouths.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be launching for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 25, 2019.
