The horror game in question is called Fort Solis and it was revealed during the Summer Game Fest. Fort Solis is described as a third-person, single player game and is developed by European indie studio, Fallen Leaf.

Talking on stage with Summer Game Fest host, Geoff Keighley, Baker, and Clark explained that Fort Solis is inspired by the likes of Dead Space. However, it will of course have its own twist. Fort Solis will have multiple endings, which will be determined by the player’s actions in the campaign.

Dead Space Remake Now Finally Has A Release Date

In terms of story, Fort Solis is based on a remote facility on the planet Mars. When responding to an alarm call, its protagonist Jack Leary (Roger Clark) realises that this was no routine call. Unspeakable horrors have made the facility their home, and they will stop at nothing to ensure that no one is left alive.

Troy Baker plays the second main character, a medical officer by the name of Wyatt Taylor. This character joins Leary in the hope of discovering why nightmarish monsters now plague the facility.

So much sci-fi horror!

No release date has been announced for Fort Solis, but it’s likely that its release could be at least a year away. Furthermore, powered by the Unreal Engine 5,

Fort Solis is only listed as coming to PC, at least according to the end of the trailer. So hopefully it will also come to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

With the likes of the Dead Space remake, The Callisto Protocol and now Fort Solis, it’s certainly an exciting time to be a fan of sci-fi horror. Are you looking forward to Fort Solis? Let us know across our social media channels.
