Fortnite has added a brand new Black Panther inspired monument to the game as part of the ongoing Marvel crossover.
The giant ‘Panther’s Prowl’ statue hits the game as the world comes to terms with the death of Chadwick Boseman, whose performance as the beloved character earned widespread critical acclaim.
Despite the addition actually being planned before his passing, gamers have been using it to pay in-game tributes to Boseman.

“As with the rest of the world, we were greatly saddened to learn of the passing of actor, Chadwick Boseman,” Epic Games said in a statement to IGN. “The Black Panther monument arrived this morning as part of a previously-planned narrative for the new Chapter 2 – Season 4 season.”
For anyone looking to find the monument for themselves, it’s on top of a hill to the west of Misty Meadows.
There’s a pretty good chance that a Black Panther skin could also be on the way, Fortnite leaker HYPEX shared potential details on what that may entail.

A lot of people are suggesting that if a skin does arrive, any proceeds should be given to charity which could be a nice touch.
