Free PlayStation Plus Game For July Replaced By Sony

Sony has replaced one of July’s free PlayStation Plus games, presumably following consternation from patrons of the subscription service, though this has yet to be confirmed.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 will no longer be the downloadable game for the month, and has been replaced by Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition.

In a statement on the official PlayStation blog, Sony writes: “We are making a swap to the PS Plus games lineup for July. This month, we are adding Detroit: Become Human Digital Deluxe Edition, which also includes Heavy Rain, to the July games lineup instead of Pro Evolution Soccer 2019. We apologize for any inconvenience.

“…Detroit: Become Human, which will be available to PS Plus members along with Horizon Turbo Chase from July 2 to August 5.”
