It seems that developer Sucker Punch Productions has dropped its final patch for the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima.
Recently, Ghost of Tsushima received Patch 2.18 for PlayStation, as well as for the standalone multiplayer mode, Legends. According to the patch notes, this update “focuses on Legends items changes, bug fixes, and improvements as well as small single player changes”.
Two years of support come to an end
However, at the end of the patch notes, it suggests this will be the final patch for Ghost of Tsushima.
“While we aren’t actively working on any additional patches at the moment, we will continue to monitor feedback on the community-run Gotlegends subreddit and messages sent to @SuckerPunchProd on Twitter for any high priority bugs or issues that emerge,” said Sucker Punch.

When Legends launched in October 2020, we never expected to have such an active community more than a year and a half later, and we could not be more thankful to everyone who has been with us on this journey!”
While that seems to be a conclusive goodbye to Ghost of Tsushima’s support, it does also suggest that Sucker Punch will fix reported bugs. That being said, after nearly two years since launch, this game has been supported very well by the developers and I would imagine that there wouldn’t be a lot else to fix.
There’s plenty more Ghost of Tsushima to come!
Sucker Punch has supported Ghost of Tsushima with free costume DLC featuring PlayStation icons, as well as a plethora of new gameplay features. Not to mention that Legends was also released as a free mode for owners of the main game.
Back in September 2020, it was reported that development for Ghost of Tsushima 2 was already underway. So, we can’t wait for that sequel. Oh, and we’re getting a Ghost of Tsushima movie too!
