The ‘Ghost Of Tsushima’ Movie Now Has A Screenwriter

The Ghost of Tsushima movie adaptation of the critically acclaimed PlayStation hit has now secured its screenwriter.

We already learned that John Wick director Chad Stahelski will be leading the project. However, as reported by Deadline, Takashi Doscher (Only, Still) has now joined the team as the screenwriter. This now means that the movie has taken a huge step toward its production.

Naked butts!

At this time, the Ghost of Tsushima movie still hasn’t appointed actors for the leading roles. However, Daisuke Tsuji has not only expressed his desire to reprise the role of Jin Sakai, but he’s also willing to go butt-naked if need be.

Regardless of whether we’re going to see naked butts, I think it would be awesome if Tsuji was cast as Jin. I also believe that Hiroyuki Sanada (Mortal Kombat, John Wick 4) would be ideal to play the role of Jin’s uncle, Lord Shimura.

The movie looks to be a faithful adaptation

While we don’t have a release window for the Ghost of Tsushima live-action adaptation, it seems that the movie will closely follow its source material.

Ghost of Tsushima: “centres around samurai warrior Jin Sakai, the last surviving member of his clan, who must set aside the traditions that have shaped him as a warrior to wage an unconventional war for the freedom of Tsushima.
