So, it looks like we’re not only finally getting some movement on God of War 2, but that it’s basically confirmed for the PlayStation 5. Again, this isn’t something unexpected, as the next generation of consoles will hit the shelves next year.

God of War 2018 was a heart-wrenchingly beautiful take on family and love with a large helping of Norse and Greek mythology, a side of fantastic combat and a whole heap of exciting gameplay.

The mammoth success of the game has since spawned a documentary about the ups and downs of developing such a title, and at last count the game has earned itself over 50 awards, including everything from sound design accolades to the elusive Game Of The Year award at The Game Awards 2018.
