The GTA 5 actors who play Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis have taken to the internet to recreate one of the most famous scenes of the game.
The roasting scene between GTA 5 characters Franklin Clinton and Lamar Davis is one of the best scenes in the Rockstar title, and their respective voice actors have brilliantly recreated that moment.
The scene takes place outside the home of Franklin and let’s just say that Lamar not only makes fun of Franklin’s haircut but also certain aspects of his social life and his choice of company.
The recreation was uploaded to the YouTube channel PlayStation Haven, and features Shawn Fonteno (Franklin) and Gerald “Slink” Johnson (Lamar).
In less than 24 hours at the time of writing the 34-second video has already generated over 2.5 million views!
Now I must say that as this is a Grand Theft Auto related video, there is strong language between the two actors, as you might expect. So consider this your heads-up.
I’ll also include the actual scene from Grand Theft Auto V so that you can compare the original moment and the recreation side-by-side.
This is quite possibly the most perfect real-life recreation of a favourite video game moment that I’ve seen. It’s certainly helped put a smile on my face today!

Grand Theft Auto V first released back in 2013 for PS3 and Xbox 360, it has since been released for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. However it’s set for another re-release when it launches for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S later this year.
