GTA 6 could be shaping up to be something special.

Industry Insider Claims GTA 6 Engine Is ‘Ahead Of Its Time’

Some new big claims have emerged about GTA 6, setting it up to be a potentially incredibly impressive game visually.

If the massive success of GTA 5 is anything to go by, GTA 6 is going to fly off the shelves at an alarming pace. But that also means there’s a lot of pressure for the game to be a noticeable step-up in almost every aspect.

According to industry insider Chris Klippel though, the game is looking to be something “quite incredible” (via GAMINGbible). Klippel shared on Twitter that GTA 6 will use an updated version of Rockstar’s engine, RAGE9.

What else did klippel say?

And according to Klippel, the feedback he heard on it was very positive, saying it’s unlikely that we’ll be disappointed. Further than that, he said that it is an “engine ahead of its time.” Of course, we can’t guarantee that what Klippel is claiming is actually true. Rumours like this always have to be approached with a bit of apprehensiveness. Though if what Klippel claims does turn out to be true, then we should be in for something special.

We do know for a fact that GTA 6 is in development, as confirmed by Rockstar Games itself. The game has long been rumoured, and its announcement was more of a ‘yeah, it’s real,’ but at least we know it exists. Though we shouldn’t expect any proper news this year.
