Halo And Destiny 2 Crossover Event Teased By Leaker

A prolific Destiny 2 leaker claims that a Halo crossover event will be taking place later this year to celebrate Bungie’s 30th anniversary.

The leaker in question is “Wish” (not that knock-off website), and they claim that a secret “Halo-themed mission” is arriving on December 30th. The secret mission is said to take place on the Halo ring, from Halo.

Bungie has a strong connection with Halo

If this special event does happen, it will surely be exciting news for Halo fans. After all, Bungie is the studio that birthed the Halo franchise before handing the reins over to 343 Industries.

Bungie began life in 1991 and it wasn’t until 2001 when Halo: Combat Evolved was released. From that moment the developer released four more Halo games before launching Destiny in 2014.

Could the rumours be true?

Wish didn’t reveal the source of the alleged leaked information, but Game Rant believes that if true, the information could be a result of the Bungie “Zoom Leak”. However, the rumours are unconfirmed speculation, so we must take them with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
