Halo The Master Chief Collection Is Getting Loads Of Free 20th Anniversary DLC

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is getting loads of free DLC in celebration of the series’ 20^th anniversary. Rejoice!

On Halo Waypoint, 343 Industries revealed that exclusive themed content will be offered to players over the next couple of months. Cosmetics include armour and weapon skins, and you can even have the original Xbox or a Grunt as a backpack.

When will the Halo 20^th Anniversary event take place?

The Halo celebration has already kicked off and it will end on January 5^th, 2022.

How can I acquire the exclusive DLC?

By playing games in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, players will earn Season Points by levelling up. The Season Points can then be exchanged for the Halo 20^th anniversary digital goodies.

What content can I earn and when?

The anniversary content will be available in weekly waves. Once a week is over, the content will refresh, and you’ll have new items to acquire. Details on the content and dates can be found below:

• November 3^rd, 2021: “Orion” Armor Set (Helmet, Chest, Shoulders, Arms, Legs) for Halo 2: Anniversary
• November 10^th, 2021: The Beast Back Accessory and Duke Shoulders for Halo 3
• November 17^th, 2021: OG Xbox Assault Rifle Skin for Halo 3
• November 24^th, 2021: Semi-Powered Infiltration “Mirage” Armor (Helmet, Chest, Shoulders, Arms, Legs) for Halo 3
• December 1^st, 2021: OG Xbox Battle Rifle Skin and Rucksack Back Accessory for Halo 3
• December 8^th, 2021: Hydration Container Utility Item for Halo: Reach
• December 15^th, 2021: Fronkbox Back Accessory, Duke Shoulders, and OG Xbox Sniper Rifle skin for Halo 3
• December 22^nd, 2021: Grunt Plush and X-Pack Back Accessories and the OG Xbox Magnum Skin for Halo 3
• December 29^th, 2021: OG Xbox Shotgun and SPNKr Skin for Halo 3
• January 5^th, 2022: The first return of the “Orion” armour set for Halo 2: Anniversary

What if I can’t play Halo: Tmcc during the event and I miss out?

Fear not. 343 Industries has promised that every item in the anniversary event will be available again at a later date. So, if you miss out initially, you’ll have another chance in the future.
