How To Watch The First Official Call Of Duty: Warzone Esports Tournament

This week is the start of the, hosted by Twitch Rivals in partnership with Activision Blizzard.  The event will see some of the best streamers across the world from Europe, North America, and Taiwan show off their skills in what’s sure to be a battle for the ages.

What is Twitch Rivals?

Simply put, Twitch Rivals is home to the most exciting streamer competitions on the internet. The program features the biggest personalities on Twitch competing in the most popular games for huge prize money. Twitch Rivals regularly features Fortnite and League of Legends competitions series with streamers, and will often stand up events around highly anticipated game launches, orchestrate celebrity events like the Streamer Bowl, and delight the fans with out-of-left-field competitions for games like Uno!

Who is playing?

This is set to be one of the biggest esports events of the year and will feature some of your favourite Twitch streamers, including the likes of Dr Lupo, Lirik, Aydan, Summit1g, Cloakzy and more! Check out our list of streamers taking part right here.

What can we expect?

The Call of Duty: Warzone Streamer Showdown begins today (March 25) and will continue tomorrow, with a 3.5 hour-long spectacular to tune into each day. 30 teams of three players each will compete to win the prestigious Warzone tournament with cash prizes for the top-scoring gamers. Both Solos and Battle Royale modes will be featured, and there’ll be a lot for you to learn from these pros!

How can I watch it?

It’s never been a better time to get stuck into the competitive esports world (especially in today’s current climate), and Twitch Rivals and Activision Blizzard are making it as easy as possible to keep in the loop with all the nail-biting action. Not only that, but the streamers all compete from their own homes and set ups and given the current climate this is brilliant news as we all try to stay safe. 

Available to watch online from your computer, tablet or mobile device, all you need to do is keep your eyes on the Twitch Rivals page to tune into the tournament.

You can check out all the action as it, starting on March 25th 16:00 GMT/17:00 CET.  The tournament will then continue with its second day of streaming on March 26th starting at 16:00 GMT/17:00 CET/9:00am PDT.
