Keanu Reeves Has Been Modded Into Metal Gear Solid 5

The love for Keanu Reeves seems to only have increased since his appearance at E3 2019.

The Hollywood actor stepped onto the stage during Xbox’s E3 conference to announce his role in the upcoming CD Projekt Red game, Cyberpunk 2077.

Since then – and since the “You’re Breathtaking!” meme was born – the internet hasn’t been able to get enough of the John Wick actor.

If you can’t wait to play as Reeves in the upcoming Cyberpunk game, then you might want to check out this insanely cool mod from pro modder, JinMarr [via ComicBook].

The mod, which you can download from NexusMods, replaces Kiefer Sutherland’s Snake with Keanu Reeves, in Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Excitingly, you can choose between two variants of Reeves’ characters, playing as either John Wick, or his Cyberpunk 2077 character, Johnny Silverhand.

This should definitely help you get your fix of Keanu Reeves on the run-up to the release of Cyberpunk.

The game’s description reads as follows: “In 2077, America is in pieces. Megacorps control life in all its aspects from the top floors of their sky-high fortresses.

“Down below, drug-pushing gangs, dirty-tech hustlers, and slingers of illicit braindances run the streets. The world in between is where decadence, sex, and pop culture mix with violent crime, extreme poverty, and the unattainable promise of the American Dream.

“In a world where you have no future, what matters is that you control who you are. To survive and protect your independence, you modify your body with advanced cyberware and take jobs others would never dare. You choose to live free, bound by no systems or controls-the only rules you obey are your own. Because you’re a Cyberpunk.

“In Cyberpunk 2077 you play as V-a hired gun on the rise and you just got your first serious contract. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners, and corporate lifehackers, today you take your first step towards becoming an urban legend.”

Cyberpunk 2077 releases on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, April 2020.
