Life Is Strange True Colors Review Bombed Over Use Of Tibetan Flag

Life is Strange: True Colors is the latest game to get review bombed on Steam. This time it’s due to the use of the Tibetan flag.

As reported by TheGamer (via cogconnected.com), it seems that Life is Strange: True Colors is angering some players who oppose Tibet’s independence.

Tibet began to gain independence from China in the early 1900s, and as you can tell, it’s a very sensitive subject for some.

One of the “reviews” left by a user states: “We will never tolerate any act of splitting China’s national sovereignty!

Another written in English accuses the game of containing “elements of Tibetan independence, implying a split of China“. There are loads of “reviews” that give True Colors a negative score. Some are genuine, some perhaps not so.

Thankfully at the time of writing, True Colors has an overall “Very Positive” user rating. I understand that everyone is not going to like the same games, which is totally fine. But for better or worse, I always prefer to see honest reviews that offer a genuine reflection from an individual for the game in question.
