Have you ever wanted to own a piece of video game history? Are you a huge Assassin’s Creed fan? Are you looking for a seven foot tall burglar deterrent to stick in your home? The Kenway statue is currently up for sale on eBay, with 100% of the proceeds going to SpecialEffect in aid of gamers with disabilities.

The statue’s official description reads as follows: “Hand painted, limited edition, official Assassin’s Creed product for AC III, Kindly donated by Insert Coin Clothing in aid of SpecialEffect. It is approximately 7 foot tall, 4 foot 6 inches wide and 90kg in weight. It is complete with only very minor damage as would be expected of a statue this size. It’s been stored in Insert Coin’s warehouse, out of direct sunlight, since late 2013.”

Sadly for those overseas, it’s collection-only, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.

At the time of writing, bidding has just hit £200 GBP (though it’s expected to reach a lot more!) which for a statue like this, is an absolute bargain. Check out the listing and place your bid here.

If you’re not familiar with SpecialEffect, the charity works to put “fun and inclusion back into the lives of people with physical disabilities by helping them to play video games.”

The charity explains: “Using technology ranging from modified games controllers to eye-control, we find a way for people of all ages to play to the best of their abilities. We provide lifelong support to individuals and globally collaborate with hardware and software developers. We aim to do whatever it takes to raise quality of life for as many disabled gamers around the world as possible.”
