One of the biggest esports events of the year is now over, but just what went down at the Logitech G x Valorant tournament? Taking place on December 11th, the tournament saw some of the biggest names in esports battle it out in Riot Games’ fast and furious FPS, Valorant. The event was an incredible nail-biter, but in case you missed it, here’s the winners, the best plays and everything else you need to know!
What was the Logitech G x Valorant tournament?
The Logitech G x Valorant tournament saw some incredible names in gaming take to the battlefield in the hopes of winning their share of a mammoth £15,000 prize pool. Big names including the UK’s incredible Onscreen, the one and only Nookyyy, plus the likes of Maikelele and cNed all put their skills to the test for the big event, which saw one team take home the big prize.
That wasn’t all though, as the event also welcomed Connor Ball of British band The Vamps! Check out the full list of players right here!
The Winners
With a prize pool for £15,000 up for grabs, which players managed to take home the winnings?
The tournament’s overall winner was none other than Team Ardiis, who scooped the win thanks to their unparalleled skills and incredible team plays. Team Ardiis’ unbelievable record in the tournament had them take home a 5-0 win overall, remaining undefeated throughout. In the final, Team Ardiis beat Team Aslanm4shadow by a 2-0 margin and taking home the title of champion.
In second place was Team Aslanm4shadow with an incredible performance throughout the five-hour long tournament, seeing them fall at the final hurdle to Team Ardiis, coming in second place out of the 16 original teams.
Scooping the third place win was Team Fearoth, finishing with some fantastic action from the skilled team, third place is definitely nothing to be sniffed at when it comes to playing Valorant against strong opponents.
