Looks Like Thanos Is Heading Back To Fortnite In Time For Avengers: Endgame

Everyone and their mum is getting all hyped up and ready for the cinematic release of Avengers: Endgame.

In-between training your bladder to go three-plus-hours without a bathroom break, and brushing up on your MCU knowledge, you might want to log back into Fortnite, as it seems Thanos is set to make a return just in time for the movie release.

Last year, Thanos featured in Fortnite‘s Infinity Gauntlet Limited Time Mode. In the LTM, one player in each match could acquire the Infinity Gauntlet, catching it after it randomly fell from the sky.

The Gauntlet would then turn the player into Thanos following a nifty little animation. You’d then play as normal, except you’re Thanos. It was a cool mode and an excellent way to get all excited for the launch of Avengers: Infinity War.

Smash-cut to 2019, and Fortnite data miners have unsheathed a clue in the game’s new Kill Feed messages, and it seems to show that Thanos is set to make a return to the game.

Check it out below.

This definitely looks promising, and the timing is spot-on, as Avengers: Endgame is set to release at the end of this month.

Are you excited to see Thanos make a return to Fortnite, or are you going to be too busy watching the movie over and over…?

Speaking of Endgame, it’s set to be the last MCU movie to feature a Stan Lee cameo.

Lee’s brilliant cameos have become the stuff of legend in Marvel movies over the years but tragically and perhaps fittingly, Endgame will mark his final on-screen appearance.

During the press tour for Endgame in India, co-director Joe Russo confirmed that Lee will have one of his famous cameos in the movie, but also that it will be his final one in the MCU. RIP, Stan Lee.
