Nintendo has revealed that the Metroid Dread Amiibo Two-Pack has been delayed in Europe. Other regions appear not to be affected.
The news of the Metroid Dread Amiibo Two-Pack being delayed was announced in a tweet. The reason for the delay is not due to technical issues, but rather shipping delays. As a result, the Amiibo Two-Pack won’t be available in Europe until a month after Metroid Dread has been released.
“Due to unforeseen shipping delays, the Metroid Dread amiibo 2-pack is now scheduled to launch across the UK and Europe on November 5th. Metroid Dread will still launch for Nintendo Switch on October 8th as originally scheduled. We apologise for the delay.”
The Metroid Dream Amiibo Two-Pack features Samus and E.M.M.I figurines. Each of the Amiibo figures provides an increase to the players’ health and missile capacity upgrade.
This certainly isn’t ideal news for Nintendo Switch gamers that like to collect Amiibo’s, not to mention for those wanting to use the health and missile upgrades at launch. However, just like Nintendo Switch games, Amiibos are region free. So, there is always the option of importing if you really cannot wait an extra month.
Metroid Dread will release for the Nintendo Switch on October 5th.
