Minecraft may be ten years old but it’s still one of the biggest, best and most creative games on the market right now – especially if you’re a fan of experimenting with your games. Players have been busy testing the limits of what Mojang allows within the game, including finding the weirdest and wackiest ways to beat it.
Now sure, you can’t really “beat” Minecraft, but can you go and give that Ender Dragon a good whoopin’, and that’s exactly what Minecraft player and Redditor SpikyHedGey, did. What makes this super special is the fact that they did it without mining a single block.
Sharing the achievement on Reddit (and scoring over 12k of upvotes at the time of writing), SpikyHedGey has even created a video so you can follow in the same footsteps if you wish to.

There’s a lot more effort that goes into this then you might think, but it’s definitely an awesome thing to do if you’re looking for a new Minecraft challenge. Check it out below!
Speaking of footsteps, another YouTuber and Minecraft fan by the name of TheHeightAdvantage also managed to beat the game in a weird and wonderful way – this time without walking a single step.
The pro Minecraft player used the unbound walking keys in his self-created world and got straight down to business collecting resources and crafting while standing in the same spot. He then crafted a boat, which can be climbed into from the adjacent block. By doing this over and over again and replacing the boat each time, the player was able to move – very slowly – across the map.
Eventually a pig is saddled and that makes things a little easier for TheHeightAdvantage, but even with ‘LittleTimmy’ helping in the quest, it’s still a long but impressive slog.
Literally anything is possible in Minecraft and the creative prowess of its millions upon millions of players is mind-boggling. Keep the good – and crazy – videos coming, Minecrafters!
