MrBeast Reveals How He Went From “$1 A Day” To Millions In Casey Niestat Interview

Popular YouTuber, MrBeast, has revealed how he went from earning $1 a day to millions.

He’s pretty famous for his much ‘happier’ videos that are available on his channel. For example, he often gives out massive amounts of money to people he feels are deserving. Whether they’re streamers with 0 viewers, or homeless people, even waiters and Uber drivers, but how did he managed to raise that kind of cash in the first place?

This video, for example, has almost 12 million views. And it’s all about giving a homeless guy a house. Lovely, that.

Speaking to fellow YouTuber, Casey Niestat, in a new interview, he said: “I used to make a dollar a day, so I didn’t even have a microphone,

“My mindset was just ‘reinvest everything I make – every time I got a paycheck, that was the month’s budget,

“So I saved up a dollar a day to buy a microphone, when I made a few thousand, I just spent a few thousand, when I made ten thousand, I just spent ten thousand. As I made more videos, I was like ‘I want to spend it on videos somehow.”

He also manages to attract brand deals and sponsored videos to support the cash he wants to give out. It’s a pretty solid business model as he knows that these kinds of videos will do well, getting lots of views, and therefore generating more cash.

He continued: “There’s a big misconception that controversy and negativity is the only way to get clicks, because that’s how it is in the media, for the most part, they don’t want good stories, they just want bad things,

“But I think on YouTube, it’s different, and people just haven’t realised it. Positivity is just as clickbait as negativity.”
