The Taiwanese game rating for a new Crash Bandicoot has appeared online, suggesting a brand-title Crash game will be soon announced.
Technically this is a leak, so take it with a pinch of salt (as always!) Also, minor spoilers ahead!

The news comes just hours after media outlets and influencers received mysterious Crash Bandicoot jigsaw puzzles from Activision, which is typically the way that Crash games are unveiled.
According to the leaked game rating, the next Crash Bandicoot will be called Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. Which…yeah, it IS about time!

The Taiwanese game listing includes the following description: “Crash is relaxing and exploring his island in his time, 1998, when he finds a mysterious mask hidden away in a cave, Lani-Loli. The mask is one of the Quantum Masks and apparently knows Aku-Aku, Crash’s mask friend! With the Quantum Masks returning and a Quantum Rift appearing near our heroes, they decide to bravely head through to different times and dimensions to stop whoever is responsible.”

It’s getting harder and harder to keep secret games under wraps thanks to leakers lurking literally everywhere (try saying that 10 times fast). Earlier this year, a rumour surfaced which suggested that Activision is working on not one, but TWO brand-new Crash Bandicoot games.
The (unconfirmed) rumours come from known Twitter leaker and YouTuber, TheGamingRevolution, who took to the platform to offer up the following information:
“Some Activision games in the works: Tony Hawk Proskater Remastered, Call of Duty 2020 (code-named PROJECT: ZEUS), MW2 Remastered, a F2P COD game from SHGames (2021 ETA), a PvP Crash game, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex Remastered.”

From the rating description, this doesn’t sound too much like a PvP Crash, but we’ll see how this one turns out when Activision does the official reveal!
