We have all played the great Tony Hawk games when we were younger and many of them would love to see them remastered. Tony Hawk himself has obviously been peppered with questions about the potential remaster. He addressed these questions in a few tweets on 27th Feb:
To anyone asking me to 'remaster" old games, or complaining about THPS servers being down: Activision owns the THPS license but I am no longer working with them. If I had the skills / authority to reboot servers or code games for newer systems on my own, I would be happy to…

To clear up a few things about THPS: I worked closely with Neversoft on our series to provide ideas & authenticity (without writing code), & I am forever grateful to Activision for 2 decades of support; my contract with them ended amicably in 2015. And THANK YOU to all the fans!

This is obviously sad news to hear but there is another developer who has an idea on how to bring back the Tony Hawk games in a slightly different format. Mike Rose who has made Decenders which is in a similar genre to the Tony Hawk games tweeted this:
Dear Mr @tonyhawk,@RageSquid are currently creating the most highly rated extreme biking game ever: https://t.co/7YSHYAkvsb
They plan to tackle skateboarding next. They have a half-pipe in their office.
We should chat <3 https://t.co/Wo6IqCpiOf

We hope he is talking to the man himself Tony Hawk. This could mean that there is a new Tony Hawk game on the way and it will be incredible to see. It has been far too long since we have seen a great skateboarding game and with the No More Robots team getting friendly with Tony Hawk one might not be too far away.
