Pika pika-pika, pika pika pika! Pika? Pika pikachuuuu!
Not sure what you just read? Well, if you install this new web extension then you can start learning the language of Pikachu, as it’ll transform everything you see into those oh-so-familiar “Pika-pi”s. (If you speak Pikachu, and I just said something horribly offensive, I am really sorry).

In celebration of the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie, Warner Bros. France has launched the web extension for both Firefox and Chrome, and it’s as pointless as it is fantastic [via TheGamer].
Finally, your childhood dreams of Pika-pi-ing your way through life can now be a reality, and it’s just getting us more and more hyped for the release of the upcoming movie.

Detective Pikachu stars Ryan Reynolds as a Pikachu who can speak to – and be understand – by a human. The two embark on adventures to solve a mystery in a never-before-seen world of Pokemon.
Although the reveal of the live-action characters were met with some hesitation, it seems the internet has changed its mind, deciding that actually, they’re pretty cute.
…Especially when compared to the recently-revealed Sonic the Hedgehog live-action character.

Detective Pikachu is the first live-action Pokemon movie to release, and though it seems worlds away from the original envisions of the world of pocket monsters, it looks like it’s going to be an absolute hoot.
If you haven’t yet seen it, check out the trailer below.
The official description reads: “The story begins when ace private eye Harry Goodman goes mysteriously missing, prompting his 21-year-old son Tim to find out what happened. Aiding in the investigation is Harry’s former Pokémon partner, Detective Pikachu: a hilariously wise-cracking, adorable super-sleuth who is a puzzlement even to himself.
“Finding that they are uniquely equipped to communicate with one another, Tim and Pikachu join forces on a thrilling adventure to unravel the tangled mystery. Chasing clues together through the neon-lit streets of Ryme City—a sprawling, modern metropolis where humans and Pokémon live side by side in a hyper-realistic live-action world—they encounter a diverse cast of Pokémon characters and uncover a shocking plot that could destroy this peaceful co-existence and threaten the whole Pokémon universe.”
Detective Pikachu releases in cinemas worldwide, May 10.
