Neymar Jr is one of the best footballers in the world. There’s no denying that; his playing stats and the awards he’s achieved throughout his professional career clearly prove that. It’s more than just the pitch where Neymar likes to play though. He’s also a keen gamer.
Thanks to a collaboration with Superdry, we recently got to find out what his gaming setup is like whilst he was relaxing in his Superdry sleepwear, and find out how he games when on the go.
Neymar Jr and Gaming
Neymar Jr is no stranger to the world of gaming. He’s shown support for a range of games over the years and even appeared in some outside of Pro Evolution Soccer/eFootball. He was one of the first celebrities to make an appearance in the battle royale game Fortnite.
When we talked to him we were able to talk through what his gaming setup is like and what he does for gaming whilst travelling.
“My gamer setup has a screen,” Neymar Jr tells us. A key part of most gaming setups.
“It’s not too small, not too big. It has to be a screen that you’re used to seeing your puppets, your adversaries, your opponents during the game. A mouse that fits in your hand that is the size of your hand, that fits well in your grip.”
“A keyboard with which you can move around the map or for the games you are going to play. And a good microphone/headset, like the wireless microphone, which is better for me to get around… Anyway, I think these are the things that are necessary for you to have and be a good gamer.”

Gaming on the Go
When travelling, Neymar Jr doesn’t drag his desktop computer with him. He has a much more practical solution.
“My gaming setup, when I travel, I take the monitor, keyboard, mouse and microphone/headset. A notebook gamer. Unfortunately, I can’t take the CPU, so I take a gaming notebook, which is very good by the way, and then you can play. It’s not like being at home but it helps me a lot. It’s what has been helping me during travels and meetings.”
