It’s just over a week until Elden Ring is released, players are doing their absolute best not to lose their minds until that time arrives.
Devoted FromSoftware fans know the struggle of keeping alive and trying not to die. Well, at least in terms of Dark Souls, Demon’s Souls, Bloodborne and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
FromSoftware titles are infamous for gruelling difficulty in which any lowly NPC enemy can take you down within a split second. The struggle is real. Well, unless you’re this Sekiro player, in which case, you’re a true shinobi warrior. However, it’s not just about staying alive, it’s also about keeping a cool head.
The time is neigh
First revealed in 2019, it’s been a painful wait for devoted fans. Alas, the time is neigh and players will soon venture into the realm of The Lands Between. At the time of writing, Elden Ring is 10 days until its release. Which for the most part isn’t that long to wait at all. That’s unless you’re scared of dying or losing your mind before that time arrives.

As reported by PCGamer, that fear has plagued passionate Elden Ring fans who just want to keep it together until launch. However, it’s not just staying alive or keeping a cool head that’s the issue.
It’s avoiding spoilers, having the required PC specs to run the game, finding ways to cancel your weekend social plans. Even choosing whether or not to fight naked with a stick. We’ve all been there, right?
The Elden Ring subreddit is full of anxious FromSoftware players who are supposed to be setting an example for new players. Welcoming newbies with open arms, letting them know that everything is going to be ok. Sadly, between now and release, things are going to get a lot worse.
Cats and dogs living together!
That all being said, the time is nearly here. The wait is nearly over. So just keep yourself together. If not for yourself, but for the n00bs that need you. Sometimes, you have to fight for the greater good. And that greater good needs you now more than ever.
