We’ve seen some pretty impressive creations when it comes to No Man’s Sky. From underwater cities to the Pizza Express building from Futurama, creativity within the game is at an all-time high. However, Reddit user BoidGaming has created something that literally blows everything else into Oblivion.
Terrible puns aside, the Redditor has recreated The Imperial Palace from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion in No Man’s Sky [via PC Gamer].
BoidGaming’s picturesque creation almost looks like the real deal, especially when viewed from afar. That being said, this Palace isn’t just for show, as it functions as an explorable base in the game.
Check out the video below!
BoidGaming also has a YouTube tour of the Palace on their channel, which shows off the structure from various angles. The video also gives us a glimpse of the building’s interior, which is just as impressive. Of course, BoidGaming isn’t a stranger to elaborate No Man’s Sky builds, as they have various other project tours on the channel.
According to the description on Boid’s latest video, their PS4 has caught the blue light of death. Sadly, this means that the channel’s base tours are currently on hold. Nevertheless, there’s still plenty of videos to enjoy on the channel, from Nintendo-themed base decals to humongous robotic creations.
No Man’s Sky has come a long way since its initial launch. The game was originally criticised for lack of features, some of which were promised through the game’s marketing.
However, since 2016, Hello Games has continued to update No Man’s Sky, which has brought it the original intended experience. Some significant updates include base-building, cross-platform multiplayer and a VR mode, which adds an extra layer of immersion.
