Ewan McGregor Hints At Possible ‘Fallen Order’ Connection In Upcoming Kenobi Series

After a recent interview with Ewan McGregor, fans think that a Star Wars video game character might appear in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The Star Wars universe is obviously a huge one, but sometimes it’s unclear exactly how big it is. It’s soon to be getting a bit bigger too. As Disney Plus is getting an Obi-Wan Kenobi focused show later this month.

But now, in an interview on the Jimmy Kimmel show, McGregor might have hinted towards a Star Wars game making some kind of appearance in the show.

McGregor spoke about a range of topics, like action figures of himself, or super fans of the series. However, while talking about director Deborah Chow, something interesting came up. McGregor made a point about how Chow “really knows [her stuff]” when it comes to the wider Star Wars universe.

He then went on to talk about how Star Wars is more than just the movies. And how games are a part of that too. “Now Star Wars, it’s the movies, but it’s also TV shows, computer games, it’s novels,” said McGregor. “And all of the storylines have to match up, you can’t have some fact in the video game that doesn’t match up to the movie.

This has left fans wondering if that means that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will make some kind of appearance in the show. That might seem like a reach, but Fallen Order does actually take place around the same time as the events of Obi-Wan Kenobi.

And Cal Kestis’ actor Cameron Monaghan is a live action actor too. So it is entirely possible we could get a cameo from him. For now though, we’ll just have to wait until May 27 when Obi-Wan Kenobi starts.

Speaking of games, Uncharted director Amy Hennig is once again working on a Star Wars game. Details are slim, but it’s nice to know that Hennig is getting another shot.
