Scarlet Nexus [PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X]
Scarlet Nexus is an upcoming action RPG from Bandai Namco. It’s already got an anime coming out and it’s easy to see why. It oozes style and looks pretty cool.
Unlike your usual hack and slash action RPG where you spam the attack button the characters in Scarlet Nexus also have the power of psychokinesis. As you can see from the trailer that basically means you can spam the attack button if you want to but also throw cars and all kinds of things at monsters and enemies to get the upper hand. It means there’s a bit more strategy to proceedings.
The game features two playable main characters, who each have their own unique way of playing, so it’s not just the same character with a different skin. They’re completely different characters.
Joining the main characters is a supporting cast that can assist you in battle in some pretty cool ways from the look of things.
It’s also worth mentioning that Bandai Namco have already released the opening movie for Scarlet Nexus and it absolutely slaps. Turn up the music and just watch it. How can you not be hyped?
