It’s been confirmed that those planning on picking up Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 might be in for trouble as the Ultimate Edition of the game will take up a whopping 105GB of space.
As spotted by VGC, the official PlayStation website reveals the size of a number of first party launch titles for PS5, including Miles Morales, Miles Morales Ultimate Edition, and Demon’s Souls.
It’s a good thing the PS5 has a pretty hefty amount of SSD space, as the standalone Miles Morales game will take up an eye-watering 50GB, with the Ultimate Edition clocking in at no less than 105GB. The Ultimate Edition, in case you weren’t aware, includes both Morales and a remaster of Marvel’s Spider-Man.
If the Ultimate Edition was on your wishlist for day one of PS5, note that the game will be taking up more than one eighth of the overall capacity of the console’s SSD, which stands at 825GB. Add a couple more day one titles to your library and you’ll already be close to maxing out the available space. Yikes.
As for the cost of the two games, they’re definitely looking very expensive considering Miles Morales is expected to be no more than 10 hours in length.
As confirmed by Sony, a number of PS5 launch titles are sporting high prices, with Demon’s Souls’ RRP standing at an eye-watering £69.99 GBP – a figure which translates to around $90 USD. For those in the US, the game will cost $69.99 USD – meaning those in the UK will be paying significantly more for their games than those in the US.

Both editions of PS5 will roll out in select markets including North America and Japan on November 12, followed by Europe and additional regions on November 19.
The PS5 Digital Edition will be available for a recommended retail price (RRP) of £359.99 GBP/$399.99 USD, and PS5 with an Ultra HD Blu-ray™ disc drive will be available for an RRP of £449.99 GBP/$499.99 USD.
