PUBG Now Has A Ranking System And More Fixes In New Update

PUBG may be losing favour from some its fans but maybe this new update will get people back on board with the game?

PUBG has (finally!) added in a new feature that players have been asking for since the game first launched – a ranking system.

Hooray!

PUBG’s Steam page confirms the news, writing: “Strap on that level 3 helmet, cause the competition on the battlegrounds just got a little more fierce. Update 22 is bringing a long-awaited Ranking system to PUBG, allowing you to put everything you’ve learned to the test as you climb the ranks. More information on this new system is coming soon!

“We’re also squashing another collection of FIX PUBG bugs, adding a convenient new wheel menu to health and throwable inventories, adding a way for you to upgrade your duplicate or unwanted skins, and by very popular demand, bringing back map selection.”

Along with the new extras, the update is planned to fix a tonne of in-game bugs and performance issues, hopefully leading to a much smoother gameplay experience.

The devs behind PUBG have made no secret of the fact they want to ‘fix’ the game, and last month they launched Fix PUBG in a bid to bring fans into the loop of how the game will be improving in the coming months.

The site writes: “[Fix PUBG] is a phrase that we’ve been hearing a lot lately. Bugs, performance problems, and quality-of-life issues have been limiting PUBG’s true potential, and you want it fixed.

“So we think it’s time to do something about it.

“FIX PUBG is a months-long campaign to deliver the changes and improvements that
you’ve been asking for. We’ve created a roadmap with specific details about our plans, and
we intend to update it as we go, checking things off as we deliver on our promises.”

It looks like the plans are off to a good start! Will you be playing PUBG this weekend?
